Pre Op Tip #1 - Bathroom
There are some changes you will need to make to your bathroom in order to prepare for your post op recovery. In my case, I have a small bathroom with a window. The first change I made was to remove the glass shower doors and replace them with a standard shower curtain setup. Second, I added an ADA Compliant Grab Bar. Post Op Hip Tip #1- Footwear
For getting around the house during recovery, flip flops are the way to go. Easy to get on and off without the risk of strain while trying to put on or take off your regular footwear. I chose the Sketchers Relaxed Fit flip flops because they provide a bit more support and traction. In the end it just made it easier to get around especially during the first two weeks of my recovery.
