One of the products I found most helpful during my recovery was the TheraIce Pro Pack. It's a multiuse ice pack wrap:
This product comes in a variety of sizes. The cloth covering replaces the need for a separate barrier between the skin and ice pack. Plus, I found that it stays cold long enough to provide relief without the risk of over doing it.
TheraIce also provides pull on Cold Compression Sleeves and Hot / Cold Compression Sleeves, that can be pulled on to treat thighs, knees, calves and ankles.
